Meet the Assessor

Wayne Township Assessor Michael E. Musson is a lifelong resident of Wayne Township.

Mr. Musson became a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer in 1991, and has since taken over 600 hours of continuing education courses through the Illinois Property Assessment Institute, the International Association of Assessing Officers, the Appraisal Institute and the Illinois Department of Revenue. He also has a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Illinois State University.

Prior to becoming the Wayne Township Assessor, Mr. Musson served as a Deputy Assessor in York Township and was Chief Deputy Assessor in Wayne Township. He is past President of both the Northern Illinois Township Assessors Association, and the Assessors Association of DuPage County.

Mr. Musson currently resides in Bartlett.
